About 1:1 Coaching

Mental health coaching offers a collaborative, compassionate environment to help you manage stress, navigate life challenges or transitions, build confidence and resilience, and define and work towards personal goals.

Coaching provides a safe and non-judgmental space where you can build trust in yourself and learn the tools and strategies to become a more grounded and empowered version of yourself.

My Philosophy & Approach

As a coach, my mission is to support clients in achieving their goals and overcoming obstacles they face along the way with confidence.

My coaching style is strengths-based and future-focused. In our 40-minute bi-weekly, or 60-minute monthly sessions, we’ll work together as partners to identify your strengths and values. We’ll define who you want to become and how you want to feel in your daily life. Once that vision is clear, we build a personalized toolbox of practical strategies and habits to manage your mental and emotional well-being.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health coaching. We’ll look at the full picture of you, as a person, the life you are currently living, and the life you’d like to build. Together, we’ll explore how your identity, physical health, relationships, career, and environment influence each other and shape your emotional self. Using this holistic approach, we can create realistic and sustainable changes that align with becoming more fully yourself.

When we work together, you’ll have a supportive partner who listens carefully, helps you gain clarity, and provides compassionate accountability. My goal is for you to walk away from our work feeling more grounded, confident, and empowered.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is mental health coaching the same as therapy?

1

No, mental health coaching is not therapy. Unlike a therapist, I do not diagnose, treat, or clinically assess mental health conditions. Therapy often focuses on processing past experiences and healing trauma. Coaching is action-oriented, focusing on the present and the future, and centered on building practical tools and strategies for growth.

Both are important pieces of healing the whole person. Coaching can complement therapy, but it does not replace it.

Who can benefit from mental health coaching?

2

You may benefit from mental health coaching if you:

  • are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or anxious

  • are navigating a life change

  • struggle with confidence

  • want practical tools to manage stress

  • feel ready to move forward but are unsure of how

How long does coaching last?

3

The length of coaching varies depending on your goals. Some clients work together for a few months to navigate a specific transition. Others choose longer-term support as they continue building new layers of growth.
